Man Is Sentenced to 26 Years for Killing His Mother

September 19, 2014

On May 20, 2011 a man went to the Temple City Sheriff's Station to turn himself in for killing his mom and burying her in his backyard. Earlier this week, a jury convicted John Taylor Huynh of stabbing his mother to death. He was arrested the day he turned himself in for the crime he committed in 2001 and was sentenced to 26 years to life. After the suspect confessed to the crime, investigators went to his house to search for a body. Authorities used a dog to sniff for a body underground and they found her remains in a shallow grave in the backyard of the condominium. According to authorities they found everything that they needed to convict the man that confessed to the murder. Authorities of the Temple City Police Department tell reporters that they have never seen anything like this before. The neighbors of the resident of Temple City say that they never noticed anything wrong with John. Blog by Bail Bonds Temple City Stars.
