When someone is arrested in the city of Temple, they will usually be taken to the Temple City Sheriff's Station which is located at 8838 Las Tunas Dr, Temple City, CA 91780. When they arrive at the jail, an officer on duty will proceed to confiscate any personal belongings that the inmate may have on him or her for the remainder of the case or for the rest of the time that the defendant spends at that jail. Once all of the inmate’s personal belongings have been placed in storage, the jailer will then begin the booking process which has several steps that may take some time to complete. The first step of the booking process is for the jailer to gather some personal information such as the defendant’s name and date of birth. The Live Scan is directly connected to the department of justice and the jailer uses this machine to determine if the arrestee has any outstanding warrants or is wanted by any other agency in the area. It usually takes anywhere from 45 minutes to several hours for the jailer to receive the results from the fingerprint scan. Once the jailer receives the results from the live scan, he or she will then clear the defendant for bail and will assign the arrestee a court date and bail amount. Once you contact one of our highly trained agents, he or she will ask you for some personal information about the defendant such as his or her name and date of birth so that he or she could contact the jailer to get all of the bail information.

When our agent gets all of the bail information, he or she will begin the Temple City Jail release process and will set up a time and place for you two to meet so that you could fill out some necessary paperwork. Once all of the paperwork is completed, the agent will turn it in to the jailer, who will verify that all of the necessary information is there for the bail bond process.
